I photographed Payton in late fall, at her family’s home, which ended up being an absolutely incredible location. The sun and scenery really worked to our advantage! As a straight-haired girl my entire life, I think I probably told Payton about six hundred times, “I love your hair!” We were working on a somewhat chilly evening but Payton never let on she was cold, she had a great smile the whole time and a beautiful “serious face,” as well.
