Mia was another adorable client from the mini sessions held at Fine Threads in Northfield. She loved the baby chicks I brought to entertain the children – she made sure they made it into a few of her portraits, as well!

Mia – Minnesota Spring Mini Photography Sessions
Tuesday, April 26th, 2011April Showers Bring… Mini Photography Sessions to Northfield, MN
Friday, March 4th, 2011Fine Threads in downtown Northfield, Minnesota is again hosting Salina J Photography’s mini sessions, which will be offered on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at their store. These sessions are only $25 (my normal session is $95), last a convenient 20 minutes, are meant for up to three children (additional children $10 each), and will result in a gallery of at least five portrait images for you to choose from after your session. Prints and digital negatives are additional, but I’ve created special collections just for this event at a discount from my regular prices. Your children will be photographed in the store, against a solid colored backdrop. Have them wear new spring or Easter outfits! I know I am ready for short sleeves and sandals.
Spots are limited, so contact me today at salina@salinajphotography.com or 612-229-3129 to book your session or for additional details.

Grateful for These Amazing Moments – Northfield, MN Child Photographer
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010I have photographed these great kids before – when sweet little Lauren here was a newborn. They’ve grown so fast! Mr. Jack was a willing and enthusiastic model, giving me all sorts of fabulous grins and having no problem looking at the camera, and Lauren looked simply adorable in the perfect outfits her mom chose. After I delivered her online gallery, mom Katie responded with a very sweet e-mail, saying, “I feel so grateful for these amazing moments you’ve captured for my entire family.”
The feeling is mutual; I feel grateful to be able to capture moments and expressions for all of my clients. I’ve had a great year full of incredible clients, some I’ve known for years and some I met for the first time.
Without further ado, here are Katie, Jade, Jack and Lauren!
The Growing Family – Northfield Fall Portraits
Thursday, November 18th, 2010I have photographed this family several times now. In fact, the oldest girl was one of my very first clients when I began my photography business. Now she’s a big sister! And even though the littlest is not quite a year, this is already her second session with me – I did her newborn portraits last winter.
Our session was at the tail end of fall, with a pretty mix of fallen leaves and some greenery still left on the trees. I look at these and can almost remember how warm it was!
So excited to watch this family grow, I love having clients come back year after year so I can record their memories.
